So, what is this and who am I?

Well, my name is Carl, a 26 years young photographer. I work full time in an inventory management role, and in spare time like to hang out with mates, and take photos - some of the other things I enjoy doing are camping, 4WD'ing and the odd bit of movie watching.

I shoot with two cameras - one is a film camera (Pentax 645 medium format), the other digital (Canon EOS 20D). My hobby has led to some pretty fun adventures overseas, and some in Australia. I enjoy getting up at unearthly hours of the morning to watch the day made anew & enjoy the marvelous creation that is around us.

Since purchasing the Pentax camera, I've enjoyed shooting film, and so a lot of my recent work can be found in a book full of slide jackets, these photos can be found on this site as they are converted from Velvia/Provia slide film to a digital image.

I also shoot freelance work for a Melbourne based sports photography company, and am also available for hire for commisioned work.
